Drivers in Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.) are seeing significant relief at the pumps following an unscheduled fuel price adjustment overnight.
The cost of regular self-serve gasoline dropped by 9.8 cents per litre, bringing the new minimum price down to 183.9 cents per litre. Diesel prices also experienced a sharp decline, falling by 11.5 cents per litre to settle at a new rate of 231.6 cents per litre.
While neighbouring provinces Nova Scotia and New Brunswick saw no price changes overnight, both had similar unscheduled fuel price adjustments take effect earlier on Wednesday.
