Gas prices up slightly in the Maritimes

Halifax: Residents across the three Maritime provinces have seen a slight overnight increase in gasoline prices. Meanwhile, diesel prices have decreased in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Nova Scotia

In the provincial capital region of Halifax, the price of regular gasoline increased by 0.5 cents, bringing the price per litre to 144.1 cents. Conversely, diesel prices in Halifax dropped by 2.4 cents, now costing 155.7 cents per litre. In Cape Breton, another major city in the province, regular gasoline is priced at 146.1 cents per litre, and diesel at 157.7 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island

Prince Edward Island saw a 1.1 cent increase in regular gasoline, with the current price now at 149.6 cents per litre across the province. Diesel prices, however, remain unchanged on the island, holding steady at 164.2 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

In New Brunswick, the price of regular gasoline rose by 1.5 cents, setting the new maximum price in the province at 146.0 cents per litre. Diesel prices in the province decreased by 0.6 cents, now standing at 158.3 cents per litre.
