Kitchener: Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a threat of violence towards a government building in Kitchener. The threat was communicated around 12:00 PM on Monday, targeting the government building located at Frederick and Duke Streets.
Following the bomb threat, police units promptly responded to the scene and conducted a thorough search of the entire building. However, nothing suspicious was found. The investigation confirmed that the threat was a hoax and there were no risks to public safety.
