Manitoba PNP Draw: 192 Applicants Invited in Latest Round

WINNIPEG – New opportunities have emerged for those aspiring to immigrate to Manitoba, Canada, as the province announced its latest Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) draw results. In the draw conducted on April 23, 2026, the province issued Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to 192 candidates under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream.

This specific round utilized an “Occupation-Specific Selection” approach, which is designed to address the province’s immediate labor market needs. For this draw, Manitoba focused on profiles within the Health Occupations (Broad Occupational Category 3). To be eligible, candidates needed to demonstrate ongoing employment in Manitoba within this sector and meet all standard criteria for the Skilled Worker stream.

The occupation-specific strategy allows Manitoba to prioritize individuals who possess the specific skills and experience currently in high demand within the local economy. This targeted approach is part of a broader effort to ensure that immigration directly supports provincial growth and essential services like healthcare.

In addition to the occupation-specific draw, the province also issued invitations through various strategic recruitment initiatives, including those for Francophone and regional communities. For potential immigrants, this latest draw highlights the importance of aligning professional skills with the specific economic priorities of the province to increase their chances of securing a Canadian permanent residency nomination.
