OTTAWA — Following a three-day strike by its flight attendants, Air Canada has announced it will increase services, bringing its operations back online. The company stated that services to North America would be increased starting this morning.
Flights, which had been suspended since Saturday, resumed on Tuesday afternoon. The airline prioritized international routes in the initial phase of the resumption. Air Canada anticipates that it will take between seven and ten days for full operations to return to normal, and notes that some flights may still be subject to cancellation.
The airline has advised passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport. For those whose flights were cancelled, Air Canada confirmed that they would be offered either a full refund or a credit for future travel.
