Newfoundland and Labrador extends invitations to 359 immigrants

ST. JOHN’S – Newfoundland and Labrador is actively bolstering its provincial workforce, recently extending invitations to over three hundred foreign nationals for provincial immigration. On July 10, the Newfoundland and Labrador Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM) conducted a draw that resulted in a total of 359 candidates receiving invitations through two key programs: the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

Out of the 359 invitations, 300 applicants were selected via the NLPNP, while 59 individuals received invitations through the AIP. To be considered in this immigration draw, all candidates were required to have a valid job offer from within the province. Additionally, an invitation code from their employer was a mandatory prerequisite.

This initiative is part of Newfoundland and Labrador’s ongoing efforts to address labor shortages and support economic growth across the province. For more details on the process or future draws, interested individuals are encouraged to visit the OIM’s official website.
