Russia hits Ukraine with barrage of drones, missiles, kills 3

KYIV: Ukrainian officials announced that three people were killed and dozens were injured in Russian missile and drone attacks across cities in Ukraine early Saturday morning. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the attacks occurred in nine regions, including Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Kharkiv.

Zelenskyy stated that Russia targeted the country’s infrastructure, residential areas, and civilian centers. He also reported that a missile equipped with cluster munitions struck a multi-story building in the city of Dnipro. According to local governor Serhii Lysak, at least 30 people were injured in the attack in Ukraine’s central Dnipropetrovsk region.

In the eastern city of Dnipro, several multi-story buildings and houses were damaged. Local authorities in the Kyiv region said attacks also took place in the Bucha, Boryspil, and Obukhiv areas.
