Gas prices up slightly in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick

ATLANTIC- Fuel prices across Atlantic Canada saw mixed changes overnight ahead of the Thanksgiving long weekend, with regular gasoline edging up slightly in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick while diesel prices dropped region-wide.

New Brunswick:The maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline increased slightly by 0.2 cents to 195.4 cents per litre. Meanwhile, diesel prices fell by 1.4 cents to a new maximum of 268.2 cents per litre.

Nova Scotia:In the Halifax area, regular self-serve gasoline rose by 1.2 cents, bringing the new minimum price to 192.9 cents per litre. Diesel, however, fell by 5 cents to a minimum price of 260.5 cents per litre. In Cape Breton, the new minimum price for gasoline is 194.8 cents per litre, while diesel stands at 262.5 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.):Regular self-serve gasoline prices remained unchanged at a minimum of 202.9 cents per litre. Diesel prices dropped by 1.2 cents, setting the new minimum price at 255.5 cents per litre.
