JERUSALEM – The Israeli military has confirmed the destruction of a secret underground bunker belonging to the late Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Located directly beneath the administrative headquarters in central Tehran, the bunker served as a high-tech command center designed for Khamenei’s safety during emergency situations.
The operation, which involved approximately 50 fighter jets, successfully dismantled the subterranean network. According to Israeli defense sources, while the bunker was originally intended for Khamenei, he was unable to utilize it before being killed in the recent military strikes. However, the facility remained in use by other high-ranking Iranian officials until its destruction.
The ’40-Second’ Blitz Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, the Israeli Chief of Staff, revealed that the precision of the mission—dubbed ‘Operation Roaring Lion’—allowed forces to eliminate nearly 40 senior Iranian officials, including Khamenei, within a staggering 40-second window.
US Involvement Confirmed The Pentagon has officially confirmed that Khamenei was killed during a joint US-Israeli airstrike last Saturday. President Trump further asserted that the operation’s success was heavily reliant on “precise American intelligence.”
This direct strike on the heart of Iran’s leadership has significantly escalated tensions, pushing the Middle East into a deeper state of conflict.
