HALIFAX: Air Canada has announced a new non-stop service connecting Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) with Brussels. The new seasonal route is scheduled to commence on June 18, 2026.
The airline confirmed that the service will operate three times a week, utilizing a narrowbody aircraft, catering to the peak summer travel season.
This direct connection is being hailed as a significant boost for the region. Joyce Carter, President and CEO of the Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA), commented on the launch, stating, “This exciting new route is a significant milestone for Halifax Stanfield and our region.”
Carter added that the new service is expected to generate greater opportunities for both business and tourism, strengthening international connectivity for Nova Scotia.
