CHICAGO: Team Gladiators Canada has won the championship at the Chicago International Tug-of-War competition organized by the Chicago Social Club. The 11th annual event was held at the Morton Grove Park District Stadium. Kottayam Brothers Canada were the runners-up, while Thodukans UK secured third place, and Arikkara Achayans came in fourth.
Fourteen teams from various countries competed in the tournament, which also included a separate competition for women. The event was led by Chicago Social Club President Ronald Pookkumple, Vice President Sunny Indikuzhi, Secretary Raju Manungal, Treasurer Bijoy Kappan, Joint Secretary Thomas Putheth, Tournament Committee Chairman Cyriac Koovakkattil, General Convener Stephen Kizhakettukutt, and Finance Chairman Binu Kaithakkathottiyil, among others.
