HALIFAX: Gasoline prices saw an overnight decrease across all three Maritime provinces, while diesel prices remained stable in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island (PEI). New Brunswick, however, experienced a slight increase in its diesel price.
Nova Scotia Highlights
In the provincial capital of Halifax, the price for regular gasoline dropped by 4.2 cents, setting the new minimum price at 140.7 cents per litre. Diesel prices across the province saw no change, holding steady at 151.2 cents per litre. In Cape Breton, another major city in Nova Scotia, residents are currently paying 142.7 cents per litre for gasoline and 153.1 cents per litre for diesel.
Prince Edward Island
PEI saw a more significant reduction in the price of regular gasoline, which fell by 4.6 cents to a new price of 150.2 cents per litre. Diesel prices in the province remain constant at 158.5 cents per litre.
New Brunswick
New Brunswick experienced a 2.2-cent drop in the price of regular gasoline, setting the new price at 150.4 cents per litre. Contrary to the other two provinces, diesel prices saw a marginal increase of 0.2 cents, bringing the new price to 158.3 cents per litre.
