New Kitchener GO weekend service starting this weekend

Kitchener: It’s time to travel! A new GO Train weekend service to Kitchener will begin this Sunday.

The new weekend schedule includes a total of four trips: two journeys originating from Kitchener and two journeys from Toronto.

This new service is being launched following the signing of an agreement with CN Rail to purchase land for the construction of 40 kilometers of new GO tracks on the Kitchener line.

Key Service Enhancements

  • The new changes will also introduce 18 new weekend trips departing every 30 minutes from the Bramalea GO Station in Brampton and Toronto’s Union Station.
  • Starting November 24th, these service changes will also impact weekday travel.
  • An additional late-night service will be available, departing from Union Station to Kitchener GO Station at 10:34 PM.

The expansion is expected to significantly improve transit options and convenience for commuters and travelers between the two regions.
