GO Train schedule changes for Blue Jays fans

TORONTO — Metrolinx has announced additional GO Train services to accommodate fans traveling to and from the Toronto Blue Jays’ World Series home games. The extra services will primarily be added on the Kitchener and Milton lines.

The transit agency is adding two post-game trips after Saturday night’s game, targeting fans leaving the Rogers Centre, along with one extra pre-game trip. Furthermore, track maintenance originally scheduled for the Lakeshore West Line has been postponed.

New Travel Schedule Details:

Kitchener Line (Post-Game): An additional train will depart from Union Station at 12:35 a.m. (Sunday). This service will make all regular stops up to Kitchener GO, arriving in Kitchener at 2:27 a.m.

Milton Line:

  • Post-Game Service: An extra train will depart Union Station at 12:30 a.m. It will make all stops up to Milton GO, arriving at its final destination at 1:30 a.m.
  • Pre-Game Service: For fans traveling to the game, a train will depart from Milton GO at 5:44 p.m. for Union Station. It will stop at all stations, arriving at Union Station at 6:47 p.m.

Metrolinx also confirmed that scheduled track maintenance on the Lakeshore West Line has been postponed due to the game. As a result, frequent train service will operate on this line throughout Saturday to allow fans to easily travel to and from the stadium.

However, since there is no Blue Jays game scheduled for Sunday, services on the Lakeshore East and Lakeshore West lines will return to their regular weekend schedules.
