Fuel Prices Drop Across the Maritimes

Halifax: Fuel prices have decreased across the Maritime provinces, with Nova Scotia registering the most significant drop in gasoline costs.

Nova Scotia

  • Gasoline: The price of petrol in the Halifax metropolitan area dropped by 4.5 cents, setting the new minimum price at 131.5 cents per liter. In Cape Breton, the price is now 133.4 cents per liter.
  • Diesel: Diesel prices saw a decrease of 3.4 cents, bringing the price per liter down to 162.7 cents in the Halifax area. Cape Breton’s price is 164.6 cents per liter.

Prince Edward Island (PEI)

  • Gasoline: PEI saw a substantial drop of 6.9 cents per liter. The new minimum price for petrol is 139.8 cents per liter.
  • Diesel: Diesel prices fell by 1.7 cents, with the new price set at 171.1 cents per liter.

New Brunswick

  • Gasoline: The price of petrol in New Brunswick decreased by 4.2 cents. The maximum price is now 145.0 cents per liter.
  • Diesel: Diesel prices recorded a drop of 1.5 cents, making the new price 178.0 cents per liter.
