Cyber-attack causes delays at three European airports

LONDON: Flights across Europe are experiencing delays following reports of a technical glitch at airports. Brussels Airport has confirmed that a cyber-attack was behind the issue, which primarily affected check-in and boarding systems. This has led to delays at major airports, including London’s Heathrow and Berlin in Germany.

The cyber-attack reportedly targeted a company named Collins Aerospace, which provides check-in and boarding systems to many airports worldwide. Due to the technical issue, passengers were forced to use manual check-in procedures. At Brussels Airport alone, 10 flights were cancelled, and 17 were delayed by over an hour.
