Chess chartier sausages recalled due to allergy risk

MONTREAL: The Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) has issued a recall for Chess Chartier brand sausages due to potential allergy risks. The recalled sausages contain sulfites, eggs, nuts, peanuts, and soy, which could cause allergic reactions, the ministry stated. However, this warning applies only to individuals with allergies to these specific ingredients, MAPAQ clarified.

The recalled products include Blueberry IPA sausages, which may contain eggs, nuts, peanuts, and soy in variable formats, and Mango-Habanero sausages, which may contain sulfites in variable formats. The ministry advises consumers who possess these sausages to discard them or return them to the store where they were purchased. Individuals who have experienced allergic reactions or other illnesses related to the recalled products should contact a health agency.
