MONTREAL – A man listed on Canada’s “Be on the lookout” (BOLO) program and considered one of the country’s most-wanted criminals has been arrested. Quebec provincial police announced that Jonathan Ouellet-Gendron, who had been on the list of Canada’s 25 most-wanted criminals since 2022 for murder and drug trafficking charges in Saskatoon, was apprehended at Montreal Trudeau International Airport.
The 36-year-old Jonathan Ouellet-Gendron is a suspect in a murder that occurred on the 700 block of Melrose Avenue in Saskatoon in May 2022. He was subsequently placed on the list of Canada’s most-wanted criminals in May 2023.
The arrest was carried out by the Sûreté du Québec, the provincial police force of Quebec.
