Air Canada restores nearly full schedule following strike

MONTREAL: Air Canada has announced that it will fully resume its services today following a strike by its flight attendants. This comes after the airline reached a tentative agreement with the union representing its flight attendants on Tuesday, putting an end to the strike that began on Saturday. The strike had disrupted the airline’s operations and caused flight cancellations.

Mark Nasr, Air Canada’s Chief Operations Officer, said in a statement that the airline is restoring its operations. Meanwhile, more than 10,000 Air Canada flight attendants will vote next week on whether to ratify the new tentative agreement, which includes wage increases.
