Most Air Canada domestic, U.S. flights expected to resume today

OTTAWA: Air Canada has announced that it will resume flights on domestic and North American routes today, following the end of the flight attendants’ strike.

Yesterday, the airline’s officials said they expected 97 percent of domestic flights and 99 percent of US flights to be operational within the next 24 hours.

Air Canada’s Chief Operations Officer, Mark Nassar, stated that resuming international routes would take more time. It is expected that the services of Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge will take up to 10 days to return to normal. Meanwhile, Air Canada has announced that it will issue refunds to passengers who were affected by the strike.
