Vancouver: Two young men have died and another has been seriously injured following a truck accident near Mission, British Columbia. The RCMP reported that the incident occurred around 9:00 PM on Thursday when a truck went off the Norrish Creek Forest Service Road, collided with a sand embankment, and overturned into a creek below.
Authorities were alerted to the accident when one of the three young men in the truck managed to escape and reach the road. All three individuals are residents of Abbotsford. The other two were confirmed to have died at the scene.
The cause of the accident is not yet clear, and an investigation has been launched. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161.
