Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Greater Montreal

Montreal: Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a precautionary warning for Greater Montreal due to the possibility of severe thunderstorms. The alert indicates a potential for strong winds, hail, and heavy rainfall. The weather department has stated that current conditions are conducive to the formation of powerful thunderstorms.

The weather department has also warned of the possibility of flash floods and power outages by this evening. There is a 60% chance of thunderstorms on Thursday, with a high temperature of 27 degrees Celsius expected. However, the temperature is anticipated to drop to 18 degrees Celsius tonight.
