CALGARY: Calgary Transit has announced the partial restoration of C-Train services that were disrupted following a power outage on Friday afternoon. The Red Line C-Train has resumed operation, however, the Blue Line remains out of service. Calgary Transit advises passengers traveling on the Blue Line to seek alternative bus routes.
According to Calgary Transit, the power disruption was caused when a vehicle struck an electrical power switch. Shuttle buses will be available at terminal stations within the bus loop for passengers who wish to continue their journey through the downtown core. Passengers are advised to check Calgary Transit’s social media and website for the latest updates.
