The latest gas prices in the Maritimes

HALIFAX: Fuel prices across the Maritime provinces saw mixed changes overnight, with a significant hike in New Brunswick, a drop in gasoline prices in Prince Edward Island, and unchanged gas prices in Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia

In the provincial capital of Halifax, the price of regular gasoline remained unchanged, holding steady at a minimum price of 140.7 cents per litre. Meanwhile, diesel prices across the province saw an increase of 4.3 cents, bringing the new minimum price to 155.5 cents per litre in Halifax.

In Cape Breton, regular gasoline remains at 142.7 cents per litre, and diesel is priced at 157.4 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island (PEI)

Residents of Prince Edward Island received a slight break at the pump, as the price of regular gasoline dropped by 1.7 cents, now sitting at 148.5 cents per litre.

However, diesel prices on the island saw an increase of four cents, pushing the minimum price to 162.5 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

New Brunswick saw increases across the board for both gasoline and diesel. The price of regular gasoline rose by 2.6 cents, making the new price 153.0 cents per litre.

Diesel experienced a sharp increase of 9.7 cents, bringing the cost per litre up to 168.0 cents.
